Hush Sunday Brunch Style Challenge

I do love a leisurely brunch.  Most days I just grab a piece of fruit and eat it with some porridge or a yoghurt at my desk so the days I can sit back and enjoy something a bit different are to be treasured.  Hush contacted me recently asking me to put together my perfect brunch outfit from their new collection and to share my favourite place to eat brunch.  I have to admit this isn't really my favourite outfit or place... I would prefer to be wearing these and being served up a feast in bed (that I haven't had to cook!) but that rarely happens.  We can spend an hour debating whose turn it is to get up and make the tea... So we usually get up and get dressed and head out to our favourite brunch eatery - Bills.

I love the decor in our local Bills, the colour coordinated shelving is very pleasing on the eye.  I love the backdrop the tables give instagram photos too, I think I need one for every meal I snap a picture of!  My brunch of choice is scrambled eggs on white toast with a glass of orange juice and a pot of tea.  Every time I think I will have something different but the eggs are so scrummy that I can't live with the potential regret of a missed opportunity.  If only I could make them that good myself.

Hush are all about combining luxurious, comfortable fabrics with style and elegance.  They have created a capsule range of products that are great for lounging around in but that you will want to wear out of the house too (no matter how much I love my PJs I will never, ever wear them out of the house!)  With this in mind I have selected a cosy looking jumper and a cute skirt and teamed it with a great pair of ankle boots and a classically styled coat.  Wool, silk and cashmere, yum!  I love how the blue from the jumper works with the print of the skirt.  The skirt also has an elasticated waistband if you want to try and squeeze in pancakes with your eggs.  The pancakes look AWESOME!

The gorgeous blue of the jumper pulls out the colour from the print in the skirt.  I can't get enough of blue right now it seems.
I need to arrange more brunch dates, who wants to come?!
