Hello! I have been waiting for get round to sharing this beauty, my entry in the #SewDollyClackett competition. I wanted to get a typical Dolly Clackett fabric for this one so hunted for some suitably sassy ladies or some polka dot and whooped when I managed to find them combined in this ace fabric appropriately called Keep It Sassy. It comes in several colourways but red is defo the most Roisin. I was a little disappointed not to also incorporate the Eiffel Tower in my dress so I teamed it with a pair Primark tights and of course I had to wear my lady dragons. I had no difficulties deciding which pattern to use, it was only right that I made the Emery seeing as Roisin taught me to make it.
I live down the road from Roisin so I couldn't resist taking my photos on her doorstep. It was freezing, kept raining/hailing and I got told off by a traffic warden for parking on double yellows so they are not my finest photos but hey, they are on Roisin's doorstep! Roisin was out for the day, I half hoped to get caught in the act!!
Defo got a bit of derp face going on in this one
To be a true Dolly Clackett dress it needs a name and not a number, thanks to the red bombshell below I christen it the 'la de freakin' da' dress, perfect don't you think!
My little Dolly Clackett checklist...
