Tablecloth Fashion

I love gingham, especially the larger checks, so was really excited when I saw this skirt in Primark's SS14 campaign photos and have been waiting for it to land in store ever since.  It's not the best of quality, I guess you get what you pay for as it is only £12.  It is really bloody hard to find nice quality gingham, I have been trying!  I realised when I got it home that I had no idea what I was going to wear it with.  I usually wear skirts with a cropped jumper but didn't think any worked well with this skirt so I picked up this little cropped tee from H&M and dug out this really old Miss Selfridge cardigan and am happy with the resulting outfit.  Can't wait for this dress to arrive in store, let me know if you spot it!

My M&S shoes are now in the sale along with the black and cobalt blue versions and a total steal at only £19!  They are really comfy and I can see the white ones being really hard working come summer.  I have picked up the black ones too, the metal heel adds cute detail.  I have also ordered these red suede shoes which are a little more expensive at £29, looking forward to receiving them!

I have today off so will be playing with my Nephew, chatting to my Mum and making dresses, best day ever!

  6. I think I will definitely have to pick up those white shoes! The black ones look useful too. I adore this skirt, I suppose at that price it doesn't matter too much if it only lasts this year.
