Made By Me #5

Yeah Sew Sunday on a Thursday... maybe I should call it Thursday Threads ;)  I finished dress number 12 last night and have started on my #sewdollyclackett dress and realised that if I carry on like this my new makes will not get their chance to shine for weeks!  We can't have that now can we?!

I absolutely adore this dress and think the photos do not do it justice.  The colour is amazing, it gets so many compliments every time I wear it (and lots of you made that? No way!)  It fits like a glove without any of the adjustments I have since made to the pattern and generally makes me feel epic.  It's one of those fabrics that I most likely wouldn't have bought from a little photo online but seeing it in the flesh won me over.  I picked it up at a local quilting shop, The Quilters Den in Warwick is ace if you are local.  I get my nails done just down the road every three weeks and now take the opportunity to pop in and check out their fabrics, it is a treat I really look forward to and have to restrain myself to just two lots of fabrics each time!  Just in case you need me to say again the pattern is the Emery by Christine Haynes.  Go buy it, you won't regret it!!
