The Importance of Being Boden

A couple of weeks ago Boden asked if I would like to be part of their campaign celebrating what it means to be Boden.  Launched this week the campaign starts by looking at one of their most celebrated pieces - the rain mac.  I opted for the bold navy spot version which has a lovely yellow lining and decided to team it with a yellow striped dress for the perfect contrast.  Perfect for adding a bit of sunshine to a very gloomy day.  Ironically the only time it didn't rain was whilst we snapped these photos and yes I did actually leave the comfort of the garden to do so!  You can read more about the campaign and find out how you can win your own rainy day mac  here and you can check out how the other bloggers involved styled up their macs here.

A little sewing update - I have managed to make three dresses so far!  Eeep!! I am absolutely loving it, thankfully I am finding it mostly relaxing and my only annoyance is at myself for taking so long to learn.  If I carry on at this rate I am going to need to upgrade my wardrobes as three just isn't going to cut it, maybe I can talk Gray into turning the spare room from a guest room to a dressing room for me?!  I can just see this wardrobe down both sides of the room with a little dressing table under the window. A girl can dream!!

  1. The dress goes perfectly with the rainmac Sarah!

  2. Love the rain mac, I'm so tempted by the stripey one!

  3. I love the mac, it's much nicer than my sturdy black waterproof jacket!
I also wonder who Dave is? I always wonder the story behind the people whose names are graffittied into concrete like that!

  4. I love their macs, have had a nose and have now seen the stripy one and the yellow spot one!

  5. Nothing like an excellently spotted mac! You look lovely!

  6. Gorgeous, love Boden, love that Mac on you!

I love comments, thank you xx
