This was the first time Mod Dolly had both exhibited at Pure and accepted trade orders. I love that Mod Dolly knows exactly who they are, the capsule AW14 collection is everything you would expect in lovely fabrics including a ditsy floral I have my eye on.
You all know I am a major fan of Emily & Fin so you won't be surprised that I was really excited to get to see the collection in full. I had seen a few images already but actually seeing the dresses in all their glory was wonderful. So many gems, the first half of the collection drops in two weeks and the other half at the beginning of April. Ice lollies, acrobats, bikes, geometric prints and their trademark polka a plenty.
Tiger faces and unicorn prints were on offer at Sugarhill Boutique along with some uber cute cat and chicken prints. Their hand drawn prints never fail to disappoint.
I had a little giggle when I walked over to the Vanity Project Dresses by Limb Clothing stand. RACCOON PRINT!! The print is available in three colourways and they are using them all. The are also using another two prints from the Sew Retro range by Makower that I adore and am going to be using myself. Roisin has already made a dreamy dress from the cotton reels fabric. The thing I really love about Limb is they will make any of their dress styles in any of the fabrics they offer, it's always annoying finding the perfect fabric but wishing the dress design was different. Talking of perfect fabric can I please draw your attention to the panda print. OH MY!
I also got to have a cup of tea with the Ladies from Aspire Style which was lovely, it is great chatting dresses to people who share your passion. We had a fab day which we finished with a spot of fabric shopping. Just don't ask Char how much she spent in Liberty ;)
