I mentioned in a previous post that I was most impressed with the Asos Graduate MarketPlace area of the Clothes Show this year. I actually found one of the sellers on Etsy whilst looking for a Christmas dress and was delighted to find they had won a place at the Clothes Show and promptly arranged to collect my dress from them at the Show. Silly Old Sea Dog is the kind of brand that gets me excited, the dresses are handmade in the UK (Newquay to be precise), from fabulous fabrics and with a beautiful 50's silhouette. You can read more about how Silly Old Sea Dog came to be here.

I had a good browse round the stall, so many lovely things my little brain found it hard to work out which pretties to focus on first. I introduced myself to the lovely Alison and collected the dress I had pre-ordered. Another dress also caught my eye and needed to come home with me too, more on that at a later date! The quality and the fit of the dresses is just perfect. I love that they are all handmade, I may never have the patience to cut out a pattern cut and start making my own but the passion and love that goes into making each dress is obvious. My favourite style of dress is this one, I love how you can choose the length you require and can't wait to see what other fabrics Alison has in store for us next year!

It felt right to take these photos in front of the tree, unfortunately as it is in our landing there isn't much room around it so I have had to crop the photos to remove the kitchen door and banister. The amazing holly shoe clips are from Crown and Glory. The perfect finishing touch.
