Wednesday Wants

I have been struggling to find pretty dresses this week, I don't know where they have all gone.  It seems that most of the skater dresses have been replaced with smocks, boooooo to that!  I have found some gems though.  How pretty is this sequined beauty from asos?  The sequin detail is just perfect and I love the tulle skirt, I think I would have to put it on with some sparkly shoes and do lots of twirls in it.  It's saved ready for my Christmas list.

 Dress: asos

The perfect tartan dress seems as elusive as ever so this little black and red number from Dotty P's is going to have to tide me over.  I already have this dress in an animal print so know that it is really versatile and will fit right in my wardrobe easily.

 Dress: Dorothy Perkins

Now I know I was moaning at the start of my wishlist about all the smocks but even I can't help but fall for some of them.  I am thinking this one isn't too smock-like and the fabric is lush.

 Dress: Boohoo

This is a bit of a change from my usual wishlist, I wanted to share the items I have been going to so much trouble to own!  I decided that I needed both items just as they had almost sold out everywhere.  Cue lots of frantic searching and I finally got to make them mine.  Can't wait to share the outfit with you - I love it and it was totally worth the effort!

Jumper: Topshop Skirt: Whistles

I have gone to so much effort to put together my perfect outfit, all I need now is a pair of killer boots to finish it off.  I am loving these babies from Ted Baker, they definitely have the wow factor!

What are you wishing for this week?

  1. I'm having a total floral fest at the moment, there are some gorgeous autumnal colours out there even on florals. I like this one (http://www.simplybe.co.uk/shop/floral-print-maxi-dress/rc962/product/details/show.action?pdBoUid=8851#colour:Print,size:12) as I'm a maxi dress fan but Simply do plenty of shorter skater dress styles as well.

That DP one is nice though - the not-quite-tartan definitely removes any frump factor risk!

    1. Love the autumn colours on that dress. I didn't realise Simply did below a 14, says that dress comes in a 12!

  6. I was just looking at the tartan DP dress before I clicked on this post, spooky! I did discount it because of the shape at the back, I think it will accentuate my already too big behind. x
