Chevron Stripes

Firstly for those who follow me on instagram or twitter apologies for the instaspam on Saturday night.  You'll all be grateful I don't go out drinking with the girls that often. haha.  I resisted the temptation to snap the epic roast I had the next day and will try to refrain from ever uploading 16 photos in a day again!

This is another purchase from my shopping trip with Char.  The chevron print first caught my eye then I realised it would look great with my new yellow cardigan which meant it had to come home with me.  I know I go through colour phases and right now it is everything yellow!  I finally managed to pick up this Jaeger dress in an 8 too and it fits, what a result!  I was checking the website several times a day just in case it came back in stock, sometimes persistence pays.

The dress is made from a lovely lightweight almost chiffon fabric and hangs beautifully.  It has a row of fabric covered buttons up the back of the dress so I am thinking of trying it out backwards too as they add a bit more interest.  I have also worn it with a navy cardigan and with some cute court shoes.  I kinda want some white courts like these Chie Mihara beauties.  Can't get my head round plain white courts still, too Essex girl for a non Essex girl ;)  I seem to have become allergic to some of my necklaces though which is making me sad.  I keep getting a rash whenever I wear them.  Thought about painting the back which clear nail varnish, anyone else got any tips?

Converse: Office

Lets hope this week passes by nice and quickly, I'm ready for the weekend again already!

  1. I've done the nail polish thing with cheap Accessorize rings which used to turn my finger green, it does work, so I guess it would with necklaces as well.
Yay for the chevrons, so many pretty new dresses! :)

I paint things with green nail varnish to stop me going green so it may work to prevent rashes too. x
