Go Boating

Well that was a lovely weekend!  Saturday wasn't as productive as we had hoped as it was just too hot to do much more than lounge around in the garden and eat ice creams.  Sunday started off with a tip run (living the dream) then Gray and my brother in law got to work building the garden shed, think you'll agree they have done a fab job.  Gray and I painted the panels a few days ago so it was ready to assemble.  All that was left was for me to give it another coat of the greyey white and voila, our very own beach hut albeit in our garden at one of the most furthest points inland ;)

I didn't plan to be in theme with our new shed, honest!  I am wearing one of my new Emily and Fin Lucy dresses.  The dress is covered in little boats in a mix of blues, lime and pink.  I picked up the lime with my necklace and wore my rediscovered H&M bright blue cardi.  Oh yeah and bare legs, I have braved it for the second day running!  I hate being bare legged to be honest, don't find it very comfy and prefer to hide behind my black opaques.  Was defo too hot for that though.  The shed will most likely be my photo backdrop for a while, it's in front of the fence I had been using.  Do you approve or is it too cluttered? I have always tried to keep my background as clutter free as possible.

Cardigan: H&M (old)

Just in case you didn't believe I contributed to the shad Gray snapped me armed with a paint brush.  Had to make sure the wood is protected and get rid of any signs of the original colour ;)

  10. We've got an old summer house in our garden and I've picked very similar colours to paint it in! I can't wait to spruce it up - a present it's being used as a shed but I'd like to make better use of it - so obviously I love your new background lol and your dress :)
