Strawberry Sundae

I'm kinda happy that it's mid June and I can still get away with wearing black tights.  Not happy about the rain though, warm enough for no coat minus the rain please mister weather man!  This is another of my Lucy dresses by Emily and Fin.  I love gingham and the chunkiness of the check is really pleasing.  No hint of school girl summer dresses more picnic blanket!  Rediscovering the Lucy dress is kinda like bumping in to an old friend, I didn't realise til I wore one again just how much I missed them.  I just wish they were easier to get hold of, Modcloth seems to have the best stock which is crazy seeing as Emily and Fin are a UK brand.

I've taken the plunge and snapped my first lot of outfit photos in my garden.  I say I snapped, Gray actually helped out and took them for me.  My regular tripod and chair set up doesn't really cut it outside, can anyone recommend a cheap but tall tripod?  Thankfully these were relatively painless, Gray usually moans a lot whenever I ask him to snap outfit photos for me :(

  2. That dress is stunning! How deeply frustrating that they're so hard to get hold of though - or even find out the price! Why do companies make it so hard to buy their products? :(

    1. apparently they sells them here Love Lily X

  4. Oh this is a lovely dress. I've not got any Emily and Fin clothes but they do seem to make lovely things.

  5. your hair is looking amazing at the moment x

  7. Love the dress!

A quickie on tripods... If you're going to use it outside, even if only in your garden, buy as sturdy as you can afford. A cheap one will blow over in the wind and the last thing you want is to have to replace your camera as well!

  8. This dress is BEAUTIFUL, I love the checks!

I love comments, thank you xx
