The Clothes Show 2012

I hadn't been to the Clothes Show for a good few years, it's only down the road from me but not something that usually appeals.  Think lots of young kids, cheap clothes and too many people.  This year however Echo Falls took over the bar area and put the fun back into fashion.  Apart from the obvious (erm WINE!) they arranged for some fabulous bloggers to chat fashion and beauty and interview some pretty special guests.  I was lucky enough to be invited to the show to join in with the fun.  The Echo Falls bar was by far the best bit about the whole show.

Echo Falls threw themselves into the whole fashion element even giving three of their bottles a trend focused make over, cool hey!  Think leopard print, paisley and metallics.  It's become a bit of a thing that when I attend an echo falls event I need to make cake of some sort.  I challenged myself to do something a bit special this time round, I drove to the event so didn't have to worry about stuffing cake in a rucksack this time!  I baked a few cupcakes in the theme of their limited edition bottles and was as proud as punch when the reveal was met with a few screams! And the best tweet ever!!

We hung around the Echo Falls bar, watched the show in the fashion theatre and wondered round the many stalls.  It was fab to catch up with the other bloggers also visiting the show.  I made a couple of cheeky purchases in the shape of a Tatty Devine brooch and a Models Own goodie bag including their show special polish aptly name show stopper.  It's a beauty!

We did wait til after 12 before starting on the fizz...

I had a go at papping the celebs! Ashley / Caryn Franklin / Poppy Dinsey

Sarah did a little talk on how easy nail art is, you can read it over on her blog.  I created a few nail wheels to go with her presentation.  Check it out if you fancy recreating any of these.

A big thank you to Echo Falls for inviting me, I had a great time!  I'll leave you with another snap of those cupcakes...
