John Frieda Full Repair - A Review

I'm not much of a beauty blogger as I am sure you will all have worked out by now.  Sure I wear make up every day but it tends to be the same make up from the same companies.  I am pretty brand loyal and not very adventurous, I know what i like and what suits me so I stick to that!

John Frieda is one of the brands I am pretty loyal to, you can always guarantee their new product will do what it says it will do and smell nice whilst doing it, what more can you ask for?!  Their new range is no exception and I have been happily trialling it for the past 6 weeks.  I was in love from the very first application.  I snapped the below picture after just one use as I was so surprised at how shiny my hair was after just one use.

I have to wash my hair daily so have been using the shampoo and conditioner every day and deep conditioner about once a week (when I remember & have time!)  I have fine hair that gets greasy quickly and dry ends from the years of being blonde and loving the bleach.  My hair looks and feels in much better condition thanks to these products.  They have left it smooth and shiny and incredibly soft, thanks Mr Frieda!  I didn't like the little pot the deep conditioner comes in though, it's really hard to scoop out the runny product and get it on my head without either losing half of it or getting water in the pot.  It's quite light for a deep conditioner but suits my fine, greasy hair perfectly.

The Protecting Root Lift Foam and Heat Activated Styling Spray are interchangeable for me.  Both give volume and make my hair more manageable without weighing it down or making it greasy.  I need some kind of volume creating product otherwise I have the flattest hair ever and these are as good as any other product I have used.

The Perfect Ends Deep Infusion is my favourite of the range.  I usually avoid serum type products as they are just too heavy for my hair and can make it look greasy.  This didn't!  It made my hair look gorgeous and shiny and like I had just visited the salon for a blow dry rather than my normal stick your head upside down and hope for the best approach!  I will definitely be purchasing this again although I am not sure when that will be, after six weeks of daily use I haven't even made a dent on the bottle.  Great stuff.  The range is currently on offer at Boots, you can get two products for £7.50.  I've already purchased the shampoo and conditioner ready!

John Frieda have uploaded various how to videos to their youtube channel.  Watching these kinds of videos always makes me long for long luscious hair that will actually hold curl but it was never meant to be :(

**Disclaimer: John Frieda sent these items for review however the opinions are my own and in no way influenced by the gifting of said items.**
