Bag A Bargain!

Hey guys! I have been poorly sick for the past week or so with some virus that has left me with zero energy, a very sore throat and feeling like I am underwater all the time.  Fun!  I can't think of a better form of TLC than a spot of online retail therapy, it's amazing how good a few little dresses can make you :)

I first posted this dress ages ago and have been very good and showed some rare restraint by waiting for it to go into the sales and boy am I glad I did.  The dress was originally £42 and I snapped it up for just £13.50! Bargain or what!

Dress: Closet

The dress is now out of stock on the Dorothy Perkins website but don't despair as A-Wear stock Closet and the dress is £15 there now.  Not only that they also have this dress in black, orange, pink and a black and white geo print.  I may have snapped them all up :) It really is that flattering and easy to wear and being ponti fabric it never needs an iron, perfection!

Not sure what A-Wear have done to the dress in their photos (the last two) but it is the same dress and just as flattering.  As soon as I am well enough I will do a few outfit posts to show you just how amazing this dress is.  I LOVE it!!

  1. I love the fullness of the skirt. I ordered the coral (doll and frog?) lace dress you had from DP's but when it arrived it was barely long enough to cover my bum hehe xx

  3. My best bargains this summer have been two Whistles dresses, reduced to less than half price - even better, my mum actually bought them for me! Usually their stuff is far too expenny for me. I love that printed black and white dress.

By the way, I finally got that Missguided orange lace dress (huge carry on with the courier so ended up having it sent to my mum's and didn't see her until last week) and it is proper bum skimming - far too short for me! Also seems to come up big size-wise - I ordered the 12 but the 10 would have been better. Now too late to send the damn thing back too - I really should learn that online shopping is not good for me!

  4. @ScienceGeek I love that dress, its too big for me now though :( Its short but not that short on me.

@rose petals The purple one is defo my fav of them, its so flattering and a gorgeous colour, I recommend!

@Cat Oooh I love Whistles dresses but they are just too expensive to justify. Which two did you get? It's really not that short on me & fits the same as the topshop version although I could do with going down to a 10 in it now too but I am sure a few carefully placed darts round the waist will sort that out :)

  7. Aww is there no way you can take it in a bit? At least it shows your losing weight and it's a good excuse to buy a new wardrobe! :)
I didn't bother to try it on as it was short just held against me!xx
