Welcome to the cheap seats

I am so tired today so won't scare you with a photo of my pasty worn out face.  Instead I thought I would share with you the bargain basement dresses I am currently eyeing up, so many gorgeous CHEAP dresses at the moment :)

Matalan:
Dress 1                    Dress 2                   Dress 3

Peacocks:
Dress 1                  Dress 2                    Dress 3

Clothing At Tesco:
Dress 1             Dress 2               Dress 3             Dress 4

The total for all of the above dresses is just £194...  if you had £200 to spend would you rather buy 10 cheap dresses or just one really special dress?  I absolutely adore this dress but at £180 I just cannot justify it, what would you do?

Dress: Jaeger

  1. Oh tough call. Go for the one you LOVE. You'll wear it more and I'll bring a smile to your face everytime you wear it :-)

  2. I would wait and buy the one you love once you have achieved your healthy eating goal. :)

  3. I'm not sure... But I don't think I could justify the price just for one dress that realistically I wouldn't wear more than a couple of times! It is pretty though! xox

  4. well, part of me says go for the one you love as you may be likely to wear it more. BUT: if you're anything like me, you'll generally wear a dress only once or twice anyway, i tend to get bored of them, regardless of whether they cost £10 or £100 :S i'm hopeless!
so maybe more for your money is the better option...matalan and tesco both have some rather lovely dresses in at the moment..i saw a couple of peacocks ones i liked on the website but which looked terrible quality in store...

  7. I would definitely spend it on one expensive dress. Perhaps a Manoush number! I love that 3rd peacocks dress. Might have to pick it up when I go shopping tomorrow! xx

  8. I LOVE the bird print dress but sadly it just didn't fit over my bust! I've just bought a cross trainer though so hope to be slimmer soon!

  9. Ooo that's an interesting one! I think I'd always go for 10 cheap dreses- purely because I know that, whether cheap or expensive, I'll always get bored of a piece of clothing after a year or so....so I might as well buy cheaply and often if i'm going to be so picky!

  10. Hmm it depends. If I had a special occassion coming up I would be more willing to spend a lot on one dress and if I really really loved it. I do love that polka dot peter pan dress from Tesco though. Jaeger and Whistles and Hobbs do some lovely but expensive things! Does this mean that I'm old now that I like them or does it mean that they're getting cooler? Haha. Zara had quite a similar dress to that red one in recently though.

  11. I'm cheap and I'd go for 10 dresses over 1 any day!!

The jaeger dress is beautiful, but what if you spilt something on it and ruined it, it would be gutting after spending almost £200 on it.

Unless you can find a cheaper version of the jaeger dress....

  13. I'd definitely spend it on the 10! I'd never spend that much one on dress unless it was a real important occasion.

I want Peacocks dress number three so badly - I actually need it!! x

  16. Oh god, that red dress is GORGEOUS... but it's so simple and classic that I don't think it's a £180 dress. Surely it will be mimicked before long. Let's hope.

Love all those Peacocks dress especially!

  17. These are such pretty dresses, you are so bad for my bank balance! *frowns* I like versatility but if something is amazing it doesn't matter how much it cost, my favourite dress was about £8 from Tesco and I have literally worn it to death!
