Nude Pastels

I really have caught the nail art bug again and can't resist changing them frequently.  I do however need to stop peeling the old polish off - bad Sarah! This is what made my nails flake in the first place :( It's just SO satisfying. MUST STOP CAN'T STOP

I created these nails using - Models Own Nail Art Pen in Black, Nude Beige, Jade Stone, Fuzzy Peach and Lilac Dream

I love this polish!

I keep coming back to leopard nails they are just so quick and easy and little mistakes make them look better.  I need to check out the old interweb for some inspiration and get practising.  I would quite like to try some half moon styles, anyone know where I can get the nail stickers from? I don't think they would look as good free hand and eBay hasn't been fruitful.

  2. For the half moons you can use those little circular ring reinforcer stickers you buy in stationery shops for putting around the holes in the paper you put in ringbinders.

I really love the colours you've used in the leopard print! I'm going to do my nail later and I've got a feeling I'm going to go back to leopard print too :) x

  4. Well I heared a tip from Dita Von Tease (The half moon nail queen) she said you can get these french mancure sticker things that help people do the white tip but she uses them to create the half moons at the bottom. xxx

  6. I love them! Nude Beige is my fave shade, mine has nearly all gone so need to replace it. I was gonna suggest what the comment above me says - get some manicure tip sticker things that are used for white tips but just use them at the bottom? That could work! I'm gonna have a look in town for some later I think :) xxx

  11. Leopard print always looks good, especially how you've done it, I love that colour combination. I second the little stickers you use for ring binders, I did mine using that trick once! xx

  12. Ok, I once saw a blog post on half moon nails and they'd used those circle stickers you get for ring binders, do you know what I mean? Like if you rip the hole, you'd put a little sticker over it so that it didn't fall out your folder. Well yeah... they'd used those, cut in half! I thought it was on Gem Fatale blog but I've searched for it and can't find it so I really don't know who's it was :(

  17. Ohhhh I am also a nail varnish peeler. I just can't help it but it does make my nails flake! I'm glad to know it's definitely because of that though and not just my nails being crappy!
