Tea Party

Dress: New Look

I went to see Black Swan yesterday and well, I am just not sure I liked it!  Yes it was beautiful and Natalie Portman was breathtaking but I got a bit bored to be honest.  I did a bit of shopping yesterday and picked up this pretty little New Look tea dress, the colours are gorgeous.  I really don't like how low cut tea dresses are though so this will never be worn without something underneath to preserve my modesty.  I also got another New Look chunky knit cardigan and I found some tan brogues in Primark...

exactly what I was looking for and only £8! What a bargain.  I picked up two pairs so they will last all summer and the same style in black.  I have a little wishlist for you again today, I check my favourite online stores every morning to see what has arrived over night and today I was greated by this little beauty from Miss Selfridge:

I really love how they have styled it and also want a pair of these beautiful wedges, if only I could drive in them!!

Have you entered the asos.com competition yet?  You have until midday today to register on their facebook page and add £500 of goods to your basket.  If 25,000 people do this then five lucky customers will win their basket, fingers crossed one of them will be me!

  4. @Laura, yep they are comfy. I wore them out last night.

@Charlene thought they might be! They had them in a nude and a grey colour too. I had a hard time only buying three pairs xx

  6. I bought shoes a bit like that in Peacocks and they haven't lasted very well at all so I might get a Primark pair. I hope they have something similar in the wide fit range.
The tea dress is cute, I wasn't too bothered about my modesty when I was a student but now I work in the library I like to cover up a bit. I need a basic black top to pop under things.
